What camera's do you all use to film your driving expeditions?
and where and how do you mount it?
So far i have made this video but had to use an old mobile phone and mounted it via 2 wooden splints attached to the fuel filler cap, inventive but wouldn't want to drive far with it on, and the quality is poor so i edited it to look old lol.

Go Pros are the way forward in my opinion. Alternatively the drift action cameras are very good and a bit cheaper if I remember correctly. Not too sure on the mounts available for these but they have a built in lcd screen which is a nice feature. Both really good cameras though.

I use a go pro and they work great. Another option are the contour cameras.

You can't hear the engine or exhaust because of wind noise (it was an old mobile).
The gopro looks amazing but I can't justyfy spending £300plus on a camera just for the odd film when there's so many other mini related items I could get with that kind of cash...
I'll see if I can pick up a second hand one at a bargain price :)

I haven't done alot of car shots, but I use a GoPro Hero HD.
Suction cup is practically the only mount you can use on a car really.
My fav mounting spots are on the roof, inside the car on the windscreen to get that classic dashcam view and on the edge of the bonnet facing towards you.
