How many are there in the engine? I am looking at buying these or these but i am not quite sure how many i need. If i recal i think there are 3 engine steady bars and each bar has 2 bushings. Not really sure. I have an 81 if that helps any. Also which one of those bushings would you recommend?
Thanks.

Almost all standard Minis have only two engine steadies. You need to look under your bonnet to see what is actually there. And, don't bother with the poly bushes at the engine end of the steady bars, as they don't like the heat, as has been discussed here some time ago when someone had them fail.

An 81 model will have two steadies, so you need two bush kits, 4 half bushes in each, definitely not the type in your first link which clearly states that they are for more recent models.
