My head is casting 12g940 but is stamped as a 12g938 head with 30ml exhaust valves and 35 inlet

Ive got 21.4cc on my head drawings, however there is no tolerance given.....

because it could have been modified in numerous ways, which would cause your CR to be potentially too high or too low :-(

Have you ever built an engine before ? are you geared up to build an engine ? do you have the knowledge to do so ?

I ask these questions simply because you wouldn't be the first person to save money by building it yourself..... only to find it actually costs you more in the long run when something goes wrong :-(

Okay well I spoke to bill Richards today and told them 22cc and 7cc pistons and they never said that ain't no good

That is correct, however, you need to be prepared, in a clean environment, cleanish is just not good enough. and the correct procedures need to be used....

If you had an accident and needed surgery would you want a doctor or a nurse to perform on you ? after all they have to learn as well !

My garage is a clean garage with a bench etc and no I wouldn't but that is different and if there is things I need to know i can find out
