That is by far the best looking and probably most effective sunroof ever fitted to a Mini.

We have one on the R53 and it's great. Maybe if it gets written off/scrapped I will salvage it :-)

I would imagine the easiest way to install it would be to chop it out with the roof and trim the section until it nearly fits in the Mini roof and then perfect it. You would undoubtedly need extra supports/bracing in the roof. You would also need to see how the centre of gravity has been affected.

You also need to consider fitting drainage tubes to allow water to run away from the roof.

Or dont bother!, it seemed that Landrover didnt bother fitting any in my Discovery 2 - mobile shower in heavy rain :ohno:  - all fixed now tho!  :proud:

Hi guys, I'm just about to order and have a panoramic sunroof send over, along with everything I need (hopefully) to have it all in working order (motor, the loom etc).
I'm a novice at best and living in Spain these days so I will have the language barrier.

Does anyone know what loom I should use/have fitted before I get it posted? I want the Spanish to have to do as little as possible! Haha, for obvious reasons!;):)

Can you give me information on the installation on your mini? I have a 1991 that needs a replacement canvas sunroof but am very much interested in what you have done here.
