First problem was the radiator was loosing about 2 litres of water a day in a alot of places including coming on to the windscreen

Radiator is out you can see all the rusty colour bits are water has been sat it washs off.
So I had a look and the top hose pipe in the radiator has come loose and moves about which is a lot of leaking, ill get back to this later
Next was the carb as the car was running really badly so out came the carb and the jet was bent as it had hit the bulkhead so I cleared the back of the engine area out

Little bit of digging around found this

Top steady snapped in the block absolute nightmare ah, so I continue do other bits

Final prep on the block guess what's next

BMC Green hmmm I love it ah the only problem is the paint moss sold me as 'heat proof engine paint' doesn't seem to stay on the engine really annoyed but its better than before
So back to the radiator problem

I used a little bit of sealant from work to seal the top hose area which I thought would work but when putting the top hose on the seal came undone so a new radiator is on the horizon

So I was in a rush for Bristol mini day (I know ages ago) so I got it all back together and Installed everything to get it working again

I got to finishing the bits off new manifold installed and attempt to link it up and it was too short ergh so down to moss and surprise it's coming in on Monday rather annoyed, so I explained what happened to a few people and as I was driving home feeling rather down, I got a phone form DanParsons who had a freeflow link pipe uncut so he brought that round so exhaust was sorted :)
So we started to crack on but four hours and three guys later it still wouldn't start which as the time limited we set so i was gutted but off to BMD to find a radiator but no luck the auto jumble was rather poor, so back to look at the car after the weekend and I was feeling rather lack drive to sort it so it sat for a week then I started to play about with it and no luck just a lot of flat batteries

Few more photos took the arches off of the car and put a chrome trim down it

My box of parts before fitting

New manifold haha

Anyways that is all for now
