Hello ladies and gentlemen.
Just bought a 1979 city for full restoration,
She's my first project, so i thought i'd go for something deserving of a rebuild. Pretty good with a spanner and a lump hammer.
Here looking for friends, friendly advice and maybe a hand from some mad sicentists once in a while. I've set mysef a an 18mth time frame dependant on funds and time (evenings and wkends) and if the long haired general allows me lol.
Any and all help will be welcomed
Cheers DanAttached File  IMG_13361.JPG   78.53K   77 downloadsAttached File  IMG_13421.JPG   53.86K   48 downloads

Watch out for the long haired General they do go on about spending more time with THAT car than me and so on. Good luck with the car, questions are good and we will do our best to answer them all.

I just call mine "Yes Love" and nod my head in agreement. 27 years of marriage does that to you. Anything for a peaceful life.

www.photobucket.com. Its an online photo storage facility that allows you to store your pictures and allows them to be posted on forums like this.

You will need it for here as it is the only way to post multiple pictures. There are others as well but Photobucket is the most popular and its free.

Hi!
Best of look with the project ;-)
Now are you sure you have yourself a City? Your car looks very like an 1100 special to me. Right year, right colour, right interior from what I can see etc... It might be that you have yourself a rare and special beastie :-)

I was thinking 1100 Special when I saw the colour but it does not have the wheels and it has side repeaters and a rag roof?
Front bumper looks like a Clubman one.

Does it say City on the V5 Dan?
