Been told that when fitting the subframes back onto my mini it is possible that the car will crab if not done right? Is this true? If so what's the best way to make sure I get it bolted in the right position?

As long as the healboard where the rear subframe mounts to is in good condition and the boot floor and it drove straight before there is little reason to suspect it will crab after fitting a new frame, much the same for the front I assume your fitting new mounts?
Fitted several and never had any crabbing problems

Yeah will be using new mounts most likely, also if I fit a zeemax front bumper will the subframe go back on the car or will the bumper have to be fitted afterwords? Or is that only if you fit with engine etc attached?

Its getting it fitted correctly that is the key.
Also a lot of people say minis crab when in fact its the shape of the body, ie it narrow at the back and wider at the A panel area.

looking at the Zeemax website its a aftermarket kit so is fitted over the original bumper panel, bodywork not my thing but the mechanical bolt on preperation is the same principle.so fitted after the subframe
