4.5" x 10 seems to be the safe option, but i keep seeing pics of 5" widths without arches, eg in may's mini world theres a fiesta yellow 970S which looks fine and spec states 5x10s.

With 165/70/10 tyres, discs and a bit of neagative camber can you get away with 5" wide wheels without arch extensions? Thinking minilite style wheels.
