my opinion is that they will not perform as well as cibies, you have to accept that as it says in the advert. If youre buying for decorative purposes not for actual use then they'll be fine - if you do wire them i would relace to bulbs from a decent retailer though

also i am thinking about getting some of these to add to my car after my rebuild

They wont be road legal anyway dont they?
So having them or cibies or even rally giants, it doesnt make a difference to your driving on the road.

You can have them on a switch so that they either come on with the main beam or not at all , but you cannot have them on a switch so you can turn them on with just your dipped beam, side lights or no lights at all . The way i had mine wired was they could only come on with my main beam but i could have all 4 on, just the botom 2 on or none at all , hope it helps bud

Okay so am I right in saying that Spot lights and Driving lights are different?

And that spots can only come on if have main beam on
And driving lights can come on with dipped beams

Or am I just being an idiot?

Driving lights in modern cars are usually that striped lighting like on the Citroen ds3. But when u talk about spot lights driving lights can mean the pattern of the spread of light. I hav 3 cibies 2 are driving light pattern spots and these have a wider spread but one is a pencil beam which is long and narrow light a spot light. To be fair the cibie super Oscars are so powerful u don't need the pencil beam but it is cool.

Just wondering :shifty:
