Yea back when i had it on the road I did the sills, door steps, floors, rear valance and front end so most of it should be in good shape.

 

Also a bit anal but when you paint it can you paint under the wheel arches? I have always thought it looked better body colour then black. Dont mind paying the little extra for that.

Grey mini is coming along nicely, owner wanted us to use all the parts off it that we could (n not to refurb them, other than clean and paint the engine) this is how it stands now..

Well the estate shell went back to simon today, its gonna be an amazing mini when built back up, so clean it'll be like a brand new car! Will be keeping my eye open for it at shows! :)

Also had this dropped off today, its in need of a front subframe, body kit repairing, and respray after a nasty bump with a kerb

Had some wheels turn up for a customers car yesterday..

Also Lewis cant remember if I sent up boot lid hinges as they will need painting. Can you let me know man.

Looks good man. I'm away at the mo but when I'm home I'll give you a ring as I need to work out what else I need to bring up. As I didn't put in any door hinges in either. Then I'll pop up one weekend with all the bits and the headlining as well.

Did not get a response re a rough idea for the cost of a full respray?

 

I understand you will need to see the car but in general terms there is only a small amount of bubbling

(i am sure it may be worst underneath!) 

20p size by on the the wiper arms

1" long below headlight seam

1/2" just above the wheel arch on same side

 

The car gets great looks where ever it goes so hopefully a tidy up and a respray will add to its looks!

 

Q - How long would it take and how far in advance would i need to book it in?
