I doubt you need a power cap unless you've got a couple of twelves in your mini.
Buy a deep cycle battery.
A power cap is only useful if when the base drops really low your lights flicker. This happens because the subs are using all the electricity that your alternator is sending to run your electrics.
Unless youre getting the tell tale signs above then youre waisting your money.

caps are used to suplement the battery....and go by the amps.....so say i have a 500 watt rms amp i would need a 1/2, but for a 1000 watt rms a 1 farad.....but like alburglar said, you shouldnt need a cap unless your volts is dropping...a good amount....and if it drops below somewhere around 6-8 you should invest in a second battery....or a better altanator....(sorry if stuff is spelled wrong.....i just got off a 11 hour shift)

i have a farad power cap, with volt meter, its bootyfull! i didnt really notice much till i play DNB or some loud Ska. Its also handy to see what load other componants in the vehicle use.. like the heater etc.
