my point is someone has bodged the whole vehicle and the same person motd it for 3 years which means nothing clearly as it appears its not what you know its who.. this still is ludacris that you woild sell it on plus i went to 3 different garage first said all that was wrong was an mot the 2nd said adjusta rides and the 3rd said subframe mount this implies that the test is not good enough end off

I remember that car from when Craig was looking at it. The way the rear 1/4s were fitted were enough to put anyone off.

Its a case of either dig deep and fix it or break it!!

I don't see how that picture could possibly make the car a death trap?

the wing isn't attached to the scuttle? that bit doesn't normally rust, so if it has got that bad there, whats the rest of it like underneath the paint and filler?

The wing doesn't get attached there at all, it has a bead of seam sealer in it.
And "that bit doesn't normally rust"? Have you ever seen a mini? practically every mini will rust around the scuttle area

I think you might be incorrect there.

When I took the wings off Elliot, they were spot welded along that seam to the scuttle panel. These were factory fitted wings.

yeah but not that part of the scuttle, its usually at the back by the windscreen

90's minis tend to rust by the windscreen but ealier minis suffered in the wing seam (but oftenly the windscreen area is fine).
