Flip Front Hidden Fastners?

looking for any ideas (or photos) of how i could mount fibreglass front with out having the fastners visible. i seen some one with it not sure where tho and just wanted to know if anyone had ideas of how it could be/ has been done.

Again i'd love to see this, i have a flip front on mine but use rubber hooks. still looks great though :D haha

got any photos mate? are they mounted externally to the A panel or under the wing.

Look through some kit car parts websites, like Europa Specialist Spares. There are lots of options for clips and catches. You could use bear claw latches inside each A panel and have a bonnet release type cable inside the car for them.

I have pics yep and ill upload in the morning for you, the hooks are mounted externally to the a panels yeh, I also have a strip of trip which goes right around the car and neatened up the edges.

That's my little monster after a wash and wax, but yeh i do like the rubber hooks personally but very interested to see if you find what you're after!

Does it ever see the road lol very smart and very clean :ohno: think the hooks look good aswell, cheers cal seen the aero catch's before but not really hidden in what im looking for, im wanting it to look like it doesnt come off with the fastners under the wing/arch. ill let you guys know if i find anything suitable for the job :D

Is this the kind of thing you are looking for? you can weld a bracket to the wing and a panel to bolt this and the striker to then run a twin cable for each side into the car and use like a normal bonnet pull

that would be ideal but would struggle to secure the release mechanism to fiberglass, and wouldn't want it to fail whilst driving down the road if i managed to secure it to the wing.

Ive got painted dzus fasteners on mine which clip on to some tabs Ive welded off the A panels

Thats a viable idea but still could be seen if looking at it and im looking to eliminate that if possible O_O
