Hmmmm, yeah well I did actually think twice before posting this info on a public forum, but then decided that you'd have to be a pretty awful car thief not to have already worked that one out for yourself.

Blimey, don't give up the day job just yet then! Getting past immobiliser chips and keyless entry is going to give you a really big headache!! :D

i just bought a stop lock for mine, mine looks pretty unique so would be easier to trace.
but there is a big community with mini owners, and people will look out for each other.
Say if they see your car suddenly for sale haha

What about like a clamp idea... Yeah it's pretty crap having to take a clamp off before work but you possibly coul be walking?

or how about a fake clamp, it looks like a real clamp but nnot properly resting on so you just lift it off and away you go

Beside all the devices on the market, if it has to be left outside make sure its in a well lit area, preferably with a sensor activated security light, and keep any fences or trees waist height or less. Dirty tea leaves dont like to be seen.
