Sorry to resurrect quite an old thread but I have exactly the same problem - did you ever get to the bottom of it?!
Anyone else got any other ideas?

The only thing that can alter the camber is the effective length of the bottom arm. Everything else is fixed length.
So one must ask what can do that. The only answer is the lower arm bushes.
Measure what you have in terms of actual camber by using a rectangular piece of plywood against the tyre with the car sitting normally. Measure from the edge of the ply to the lowest point on the wheel rim and the highest point and compare these two dimensions. By using a simple calculation you can determine the camber angle, positive or negative.
Mini Spares sell some offset lower arm bushes which can be used to correct minor errors and differences.
