I bought a new gas cap to fit with my Aston cover, the cap i bought is the same as the link below, for some reason it will not fit on with my Aston cover, it will not grab on, the rubber seal is too thick i believe, when I remove the Aston cover and put just the cap on, it needs a fair amount of pressure and the key is very hard to turn cause its so tight, are all new gas caps like this and if so does it get better?

Have the same one on mine and yes they are slightly tight and the aston cap may be a issue doing it up as it may stop you putting a certain amount of pressure on the cap body
