Are all the new minimags being made with the staples not the glued edge?

We've moved to staples this month with a thicker grade cover in line with our sister magazines. It makes things easier on the flat-plans across the motoring titles (where we layout the pages) when producing the digital and iPad edition, as they're really taking off now.

I prefer Mag to World. Having said that, I only buy occasionally now. I worked out how much money I was spending on magazines - two mini ones, two gadget ones, two mountain biking ones and the random photography one. Or the economist or some other random publication. It soon clocks up to around 30-40 a month. That's a trip to the cinema and drinks, or a meal out, etc per month. And you can get all of it online. So one every now and then for something to read on a train or travel etc.

Well it seems my point is now invalid. Got my July issue of minimag through the post today and its got staples... Guess i'll be saying goodbye to the front covers of these too!

im quite pleased to see that im part of what seems to be the majority here and prefer mini magazine. keith calver is indeed very good, and i agree with those who commented that its aimed more at the petrol head. mini world just doesnt quite cut it for me, tim mundy has hair like a peado, and that monty watkins always used to get on my wick too.

i only ever buy one when there is something i want to really study in there, and even then i dont really read it so its a waste of money really.

its gotta be practical performance car for me, a mag aimed at more grown up stuff "no speakers, no bodykits, no bulls**t" was their old moto.
