Hello

Can someone please help me.........

I need to know where in the gearbox the LAY GEAR IS as i have just split the engine & gearbox and i have been told that under the LAY GEAR there is a bush which i need to tap back in and i am unsure where the LAY GEAR IS please please can somebody help me...

I ALSO THINK IT COULD BE CALLED THE PICK UP GEAR ????????????

laygear is the one with the 4 teeth gears all machined on one shaft so did u win that mini on ebay from a chap in redhill?

hi dave

yes i got it from the bloke in redhill ...

do you know if there is a bush behind it or under it or anywhere around that may need knocking in, also i am not very good with engine / gearboxes so it the one in question the top middle or bottom set.

yes there is a busy under it all, and if you want some advice, get the gearbox sorted with a proper rebuilt item, as you dont want to have to take it apart again and again
