Hows things ben ?

Not too bad mate.

We have had no internet until today (Wednesday) so not been able to catch up with anyone here.

I started my new job also, so been very busy.

Not sure when i can update this next as i can't see me having the time to do any work on it :(

I have not worked on mine for months. Mega busy at the moment; just the way it goes. I don't see any point in rushing as i will only need another project when this one is done.  :)

How's work? Hope things are all good :) settled into the House?

Work is pretty bad right now as it's slow so he has me doing MOT welding on a few of his own cars that have been sitting in the yard for months. Once things pick up, i'm sure it will be great as there is a great team of guys there. i don't think i have ever gotten on so well with work people before.

The house is ok, just sad that the Mini can't go anywhere. I might take it to work at some point

I must admit, i have not even had time to think about it and although it's out the front on the drive, i don't even really notice it when i go out etc.

John

we had been there since May 2013 and although it was great with a lovely garage, the house needed some quite serious work done to it including underpinning which unfortunately the landlord was not prepared to do and instead just raised the rent.

Enough was enough and we had to move again.

it was a big shame but i suppose that's life.

Sounds like your old landlord needs his head looking at!

All change for me too Ben, decided to go back to school at the grand old age of 35 to become a mechanic hence my mini project is on stand still.

Well he is now left with an empty house that he can't rent out to anyone so good luck to him..

I really admire you going and learning a new trade. It is something that i have thought about but never gone through with.

Very best of luck to you John, hope it works out for you.

Cheers

Ben

Cheers James.

I really need to get the cover off of it soon and check that there is no water puddling anywhere or any surface rust starting.

I miss working on it but there just isn't really the time right now

I decided to remove the cover today as it was nice to let it breath and check over to see if any rust had formed anywhere.

All looks well apart from where some of the primer has rubbed off  on the flutes of the new outer sill whilst we were moving it here and there is some slight surface rust.

Good news that it hasn't gone all rusty and horrible. Have you thought about removing the a wall and putting the car inside the house. To be honest that seems like the best option and if anyone asks just say do you like my new coffee table

I would be strung up if i did that!

If only i knew someone with a crane....

There is room for the garage in a box to go on the front lawn but i was just met with a frown when i suggested it
