Best for me... Not a whole lot, found a snap-on spanner and a hammer
worst for me... where do i start... brief...incorrectly built engine and gearbox and a rollcage which on closer inspection was welded by Michael j Fox... although im sure he would get weld on the full circumference of the tube!

Best (and maybe worst for driver!) was a bit off bullet lodged in the diff casing of our jeep we bought. The hole thing was peppered from the top, must have been strafed!
Worse, old macdonalds cups in my old now sold mk3 that had some unrecognisable goo in the bottom..:/

found a snap on spanner and ratchet in the one mini
could be good or bad when I found a bag of weed among other "s##t BRO" in my 106 rallye
and found some odd things in my most recent landrover ... wont go into detail

Best- about £8 in change in my mini
Worse- the half inch layer of what I can best describe as lard that appears to have melted and then reset in the footwell under the carpet. It was a nightmare to clean out.
I think the guys from mighty car mods can beat us all though. They found half a tub of rotting vaseline underneath the drivers seat of the civic they bought. The car stunk when they bought it.

Worst- my dad's mk1 escort project with tennis balls where the pistons should be, sold as "engine needs little work to run" and made a big point that there was compression!

Bunch of old mints in the seat crease. A receipt for petrol at a BP in Milton Keynes from 1995 or so.

Best: No rust
Worst: A fuel receipt from 1995; 15 litres of fuel for 8 quid, showing how expensive petrol is now
I would pay £4-50 for that now...
