Went out tonight to fit my britpart electronic igniton. I removed the points and condenser and fitted the electronic module with no problems.

The problem comes with wiring it all together. From what I understand I have a 12v non ballast igniton system. 1980 1098 clubman estate. 2 wires originally on the coil.

Can someone tell where I put the black wire and the red wire please.

black to coil negative

 

coil wiring leave standard

 

remember you'll probably need to retime the engine once fitted
