I have heard that rollering 2k is safe as the danger is with the paint mist from spraying, a small foam roller will give a reasonable finish if painting over stonechip, its what I may do with mine as I have had success rollering underside of car before.

I wouldn't have thought that rollering it was any safer than spraying.  You're recommended to wear a mask whilst mixing the paint.

In that case then I don't see why not?

I've always wondered about getting some grey shutz and then tinting it with paint to give the correct colour and then using a shutz gun to apply.

Im pretty sure you can roller paint with 2k. A while ago there was quite a big thread on roller painting, the key is to use the correct amount of thinners and not load up the roller too much. It does take longer than spraying as you need to do quite a few layers to get the best finish.
