Hi All

I have brought some front door pockets with the speaker pod built in, as below...

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item5aeb61da2e

Has anybody else got these and wired them up? Could you offer advice on how to do so? I have an Spi - no holes for cables from car to door, so I guess I will need to drill some - but if i am honest, im a bit scared to get the drill out!

Any thoughts are welcome.

Time to cowboy up, dude :)

You'll need your drill, some grommets (to stop sharp edges) and ideally some conduit to run them through as well.

Thanks blue-turbo - where did you drill the holes exactly? Any pics you could share?

I will buy a cowboy hat when on holiday (chessy seaside towns sell them im sure), then get the drill out...

I also use them from a metro boot. I went round every car in the local scrap yard (back when we were allowed to walk around and climb up on them) looking to see what was suitable, found the metros boot had one on each side... Perfect...

Many thanks Screech - just the inspiration I was looking for!

Looks like metro rubbers might now be the hardest part to sort out - but I will get there...

Keep an eye out on eBay, maybe message some 'metro breaking' sellers.

No problems at all shutting the doors, there's actually quite a bit of room in that gap.

only down side to fitting these tubes is you have to take the door off to drill the holes, fine if you building the car, very tricky if it painted
