My AA card. I take my entire tool kit on really long journeys of greater than 200 miles.


I would need to drive a classic transit to take all my tools with me! :-)

I have break down cover, if course, but it would be sods law something goes wrong when no tools are in it!

No you're right, I haven't got any faith in my mini. Besides I haven't really got room for any, what with all those parts and tools that I'm carrying around in mine!

I drive mine daily and usually rub some bits down and dinitrol and primer on my lunch break,

My tool kit is fairly Mini-centric so its not too big! Its only a large cantilever toolbox from MOD surplus. Just about fits in the boot on its own.

I tend to keep all my tools/ spares in the rear companion bins and underneath the rear bench. I try to keep the boot empty of all that, so that I can put everyday stuff in there (i.e. luggage, shopping, picnics etc.)

Well the boot is usually empty on mine but its only for long journeys!
