I had one and it leaked. Cost silly amounts to return it so bought another. 3 months later that one leaked too.
The alloy is very very thin and they crack and split around the welds very easily. They are cheap for a reason.
I guess some must be ok and I'm sure some people have had good experiences but you are taking a risk with a low quality product.
Surprised by that, was it this seller? When mine arrived damaged they replace it without question. I didn't send the old one back, I just weighed it in the next time I went to the scrappy. I had the first one pressure tested back to back against a Radtec one and it came out as just as good. The only difference I found was that Radtec were a pain to deal with and didn't bother returning calls or answering questions whereas the Chinese were brilliant. Very sad to see Brits failing even basic customer service issues.
The seller was good about it don't get me wrong. I just didn't bother returning it as I don't know how they ship it for £20. I tried everyone from this end and it was pretty much the same as the over all rad cost.
The did do a discount on the replacement but that didn't last long.
Both times they failed around welds.
I have had them re-welded and I am still using the second rad and keeping the first for a spare.
You must admit they are pretty thin in areas and the welding isn't the best.
Good for the money I guess but I still think you would be getting a more reliable rad from a decent UK outlet.
