Tempted by one of these for my overland build, would sure help with running temps when in 40+ degree heat! Just worried about the reliability of one, dont fancy having a radiator burst on me 4000 miles from home....! :P Any thoughts?

Would it? Have you got any info on tube and fin surface area compared to a copper HE?

I had one and it leaked. Cost silly amounts to return it so bought another. 3 months later that one leaked too.

The alloy is very very thin and they crack and split around the welds very easily. They are cheap for a reason.

I guess some must be ok and I'm sure some people have had good experiences but you are taking a risk with a low quality product.

Where are they made?

Have you ever seen Chinese 904L SS go rusty?  :-)
