Agreed, looking good. Where do you get your poly discs from? They look the dogs for stripping paint.

Pete, any good engineering merchants should stock them.
roof painted today, guide coat applied and wet flatted, then 6 coats of OEW celly. it ws really too hot to paint, and is a bit lemon peely, but theres all but a litre on there so plenty to go at for flatting and compounding

I can see the shine already!
In what direction did you spray the roof?
I know when doing the sides you go left to right horizontally or visa versa, but with the roof do you do from back to front or side to side.
haha if that makes sense!

I went round the gutters with the spray pointing downwards, and just a nip on the paint flow screw, then upped the flow a bit and did round the outsides, then with more flow went front to back then back to front working towards the middle, then zipped round the the other side of the car and in the same fashion back to the side. it seriously ws too hot though really, it is a bit lemon peely, but ive made sure there is a good thickness for a flat and compound . hope this helps, not the easiest to put into words !

bonnet and bootlid wet flatted and the insides painted. didnt bother wet flatting the insides. was a bit hot again really but turned the air screw down a bit and used plenty thinners and got an acceptable result after 4 good coats

after a few days, the roof is looking even better. depth of reflection before flatting compounding and polishing

wooooohoooooo , wet flatted, allowed to bake in the sun, and tweed grey topcoated ( roof was done last week) plenty on to allow for wet flt and compound. after 10 months of grft, I did have a lump in my throat after I had demasked it. just got the bonnet and boot outers and doors to do, plus the door and boots hinges etc and its all ready for reassembly

Imgoing to relay the lights up to reduce volt drop ( and increase brightness) and reduce wear on the switch contacts. Ill be making these for sale shortly
