There's a couple of conversions kits available that I know of, specialist componants and force racing.
Definitely worth buying the guide from sc though.
My mates doing the K1100 conversion at the moment so any questions you might have let us know.
Good luck with the build, I'll be following this one!

a friend of mine has done a K100 1380 and its a really nice motor, std head std cams.

below is the RR graph from Specialist components, while 110 hp might not sound much to some, that 100hp with perfect road manners,  a smooth idle and you can see how flat the torque curve is.

Hi there,

This is mine. http://www.16vminicl...ead.php?t=31851

I started looking at Honda conversions, but at the end opted for a K1100 LT head by specialist components and the hard way, which means restoring the car. I am extremely happy with the result The engine is fantastic and after rolling road tuning I managed to polish superbly the S/C mapping.

Advice: talk a lot to John from S/C, discuss his advice for bonnet clearance and consider fitting an automatic frame to lower the engine even more.

Their Typhoon ECU is lovely as the tuning software that goes with it.

In case you proceed, let me know as I have a trillion tips to give you ;-)
