They are reverse rims you have fitted, not Cooper S rims... just for the record...

There's no requirement for the wheels to be under the body for an MOT, you may get an advisory for it, it's construction and use regs it falls foul of
Yep, so I understand, after looking at it.
I wonder why the Test allows you to pass, then go straight outside and get nicked?

I guess it would be practically impossible to incorporate all the C&U regs into the MOT, after all it's checking that the car is in a roadworthy condition (ie something's not about to fall off/ break or cause a problem to someone else) rather than its meeting it's type approval, let be thankful this is not the case at the moment as there are more and more advisories / failures for inappropriate modifications in the test, you can even fail for poor wiring these days, and that includes the huge supply to your stereo in theory!.There's no requirement for the wheels to be under the body for an MOT, you may get an advisory for it, it's construction and use regs it falls foul of

Yep, it depends how you view the test of course -
Years ago there were some test stations you never went t if you wanted a pass, some know to be fair, and some down right easy for a carton of B&H.
I used to take my old Pajero to a place frequent by police offers who was in the "fair" bracket, I used to wind the injection pump down a bit to get through smoke as the 2.5 TDi's were a bit smokey. The tester came to me one day and explained that he was sorry, but the Pajero had an advisory for a little light surface rust on the chassis (my favorite jacking point) and that his boss had told him to do it as "a car of that age HAD to have something wrong it".....
Back to completely off topic, but what on earth MoT testers are doing getting involved in electronic systems is beyond me - if my SRS light came on and I didn't have the money to fix it, then it would be dash out and a link wire from the check engine light or something else to limp through the test.
Most of us know that if the SRS light is on, we should fix it, getting MoT testers involved will only cause more bodges and faults to go undetected for the future.

Turns a lot more head on 10's. Guess its because joe public would have no idea how old it is now.
Keeping the fronts free of brake dust is a never ending task!
