I would relook at the idea of having a O ring instead of the cork gasket, would make a big difference to usability and make yours stand out as an improvement over the others out there rather than just on the looks

Starting to fall out with suppliers and manufacturers... Perhaps this is the reason everything is made in China now...?

I am hoping, that I will have one by next week, I am doing a show in Manchester, and I wanted one as an advert.

 

I've been trying  not to think about them so much, as I have got tired of asking about the pattern, which apparently is still uner way, and have been promised ready for the show, but I am not holding my breath....

 

A Horsman conversions steering wheel is also under way....

couple of minor tweeks to make, and thats it!

 

I have ordered the filler neck and cap, so once those arrive I can do number one, and see how it goes!

 

Just the sleeved nuts to sort....

That looks awesome. What style of cap and bolts are you planning to use?

Cap will be like this:

Bolts will be custom countersunk stainless alan key head jobbies....

 

Should have the first one by the end of october!!

Is the oil filler cap definitely going to be in the middle? As it won't be compatible with my Cooper air intake if it is :-(

Update, yes....

 

These will be available in the new year, I hope to have some on a stand at Bingly, or at least be able to take some orders.

 

Sneak preview:

 

 

 

Will come painted in crackle black, as per the picture. The logo will be polished (unpolished in pic) and it will have countersunk bolts.

 

It will come with the cap, a cork gasket, and the bolts with rubber O rings. And probably a sticker!
