Yellow folks,

Basically the tiny bracket that is used for an engine steady and clutch hose has come off as they all do and I've got a newer heavier duty one to weld on. But here's my problem, my mini is kinda in bits with no MOT etc. It's obviously only a small job but i don't have a welder and the one I'd usually borrow off my cousin is bust.

So i guess my options are to hire a mig or get a mobile welder to come do it. Bearing in mind I'm on a tight budget which do you think is my best option?

Cheers

Mobile welder should only charge you £30 max for that. Not sure how that compares to hiring one for a day but probably less hassle.

Your other option is to bolt it on. Then once you are up and about weld it in place.

Thanks for the quick replies. Hiring seems to be looking at about £50 for the day so maybe mobile welder sounds like a better option and will probably do a better job.
