there no movement in forward or rev.........when was it last serviced...........and you will probibly need to ajust the cable just a flat at a time and mark with white paint before you do........also you can use engine flushing oil pop a bottle in and run engine for 20mins drain and refill with cheap oil and another bottle of flush oil repete and drain new oil filter and top up with 20/50 corma classic oil

No...I strongly advise against a flushing oil just yet.....and no disrespect to the other poster - but I wouldn't change any cable settings just yet (assuming he means the cable from the quadrant to the gearbox).

The steps suggested are as follows:-

if no gears can be selected (forward or reverse)

1) Oil level

2) Pressure test (1/8" port on side of oil filter)

3) Remove and clean aux valve block

4) Check main oil pump and flow valve, supply and feed pipe seals and main oil strainer seals

5) Check low pressure valve

Fwd oil pressure is between 75-85 PSI

Rvs oil pressure is between 115-125 PSI

If you only lost forward gears:-

1)Check the fitting of forward clutch feed pipe

2)Check the forward clutch and/or shaft rings

Have you lost drive in manual and reverse?
