hi,i currently have a a-plus engine,flat top pistons and a leaded head. i also have a unleaded head sat in the garage and the question is can i just bolt it on or do i have to get the valve chambers machined??

hi
as long as the head, is of the same size engine, then you dont need to do anything else, just change them over, remembering to use a new head gasket, and other gaskets as well

Cheers cowboy,its off the same size engine,ive got a gasket set but it'll need some new valves,dont no if it needs skimming but ive got a surface grinder in my garage :D ,i might port and polish it,im not sure,i havent looked at it that closly so dont no what it needs. Thanks again
