does anyone know for certain whether a 93 mayfair 1275 carb manual has a dim dip relay with drc6520 stamped on it behind the tripple clocks or not?

also does the same car have an electric cooling fan?

the answer to these 2 questions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

On my 1988 Mini the dim dip relay was clipped to the bottom of the lower dash rail to the right of the steering column.

On my 1988 Mini the dim dip relay was clipped to the bottom of the lower dash rail to the right of the steering column.

On 89 mini 998 I found it hanging below that rail resting on the heater air intake, but Haynes shows a picture of it within the box frame to the rear of the instrument twin cluster, just below the metal can which I assume is the resistor for the dim dipped beam.
hope this helps

Throw away the dim/dip gubbins -it was NEVER required - and is just a nuisance.

Throw away the dim/dip gubbins -it was NEVER required - and is just a nuisance. And - it ruins halogen bulbs - by running them too cold. Get RID of it!
