Looks like you need to replace the one by the heater pipes in that last photo!
Looks like all the little jobs are making all the difference though so keep going!

Got a little job started after college today, took the driverside wing (door) wirror off and aw a lovely starting point of rust from a crack in the paintwork.
Going to be making up some stainless steel plates to go over the area, on a perminent basis :)
Also theres a few arty (ish) shots from me because i was bored after getting home from college and thought id better give Cuey some attention
Cheers,
Cliff

Well its been rather boring in the house not doing much because of the weather, so with some scrap aluminium i got for free I started to make up a custom plate for Cuey :)
Paper template cut out
Transfered to the metal
Cut out roughly
Finished up abit with the file
Just needs a bit more work with a smaller file but still not decided as to wheather i'll be putting an edge radius on the lettering or not yet..
Thats all for now ,
Cliff

Long time no update...
I have given Cue a good wash and clean up today (Snow foam and jet washed), and plan to get it backed into the garage on ramps to have a look under the rear, hopefully it'l be hing enough off the ground to clear the 3 or so inch incline to the garage!!! might need to block it up somehow haha.
Also going to a classic car show tomorrow at Victoria Park, Southport (WoodVale Transport Festival) http://www.woodvalerally.com/
so thats why i say "Hopefully", really depends on what time we get back.
Cheers,
Cliff

Has been a really nice day today, I managed to get a few bits done on the metro, mainly cleaning the rear undrside out of any dirty trapping point in the rear.
Also had a light downer as a rear Hydro pipe burst after hours of pumping (small hand held pump ), but im not too fased as i plan to convert it anyway and i've had too good of a day for that to bring me down to a pointless low (im learning slowly
).
Also picked up some roof bars at an autojumble in southport for 5 Pounds!!!!

Now theres alot of crap pictures there but most are for reference for me but thought id share abit of what im doing :).
Now....the better half of the Metro and this thread, nice Cuey Exterior upper pictures :
And yes I have cut the exhaust down abit and sprayed it, it stuck out quite far and I never really liked the original look of it to be honest.
I've really enjoyed working on Cuey today despite the set backs but all in all not a weekend I can complain at.
Thanks for popping in folks,
