Noo! What a shame after all this work! What car you gonna get to keep you occupied then?

It is suck a shame Nathan I know, life continues on though doesn't it.

I can't get antoher car or bike to keep me occupied, the likelihood is that I'll be living in a flat soon so nothing car related at all, just me, my bicycle and I  .

Rather depressing though but I'll find a new small hobby I can do and that takes me interest.

Are you getting rid of everything then?

Afraid so Ben, it's been a great journey being part of such an amazingly open and friendly bunch on TMF, I'll still be logging in daily as I always do after work and moseying around peoples threads :-) .

After all, I want to mainly see this Mini 25 of yours rolling out on the highway again :genius: .

I'll swap you? ;) hehe
I'll even throw in the kn jupiters

You can buy it off of me if you like Rob :P, but I can't afford to occupie somewhere I don't own, not to mention storing a welder in a flat with a gas bottle besides my bed  , don't think the landlord would be too happy about that one.

Haha, I wonder if that would work... :P

Probably not considering there will be cycling gear in there too >_<

Although I'm not usually a fan of Metros, there is something about this one that I like. Think I've said that early on in the thread too.

Shame to hear you're selling soon though, always check your updates on it. Hide it under your bed in your new place :P

Yeah it is a pity. Mine broke down again tonight so I'll be joining you with selling up. Hey the skills learnt and memories made are ones you wont forget. Now get yourself an expensive mountain bike, loads of gadgets and live like a teenager ;) Keeping all your tools? Get them taken to your works and make sure you keep them all imo

Never sell your tools. I made that mistake when i left my parents when i was 16. I was living at a mates with no where to keep them so i sold them all bar a few 'essentials'. It cost me an arm and a leg to replace them 12 months later when i found another mechanical job.

Sorry to hear you're having to sell up. I made sure mine was atleast road legal and useable before i bought it as i knew it was going to be living in a car park by my flat. If you're going to the trouble of finishing it surely you could keep it as a run around?

I don't drive yet Rob so I have no way of storing it or insuring it to leave at the side of the road.

Also I'm an apprentice for a remaining 3 years too, so I've no money!

Haha, will do ;). Would be nice to find cuey again in 20 years time, somehow I doubt it'll get the longterm love it deserves

I'm going to get in from work tonight and do something, maybe paint the A post and then bolt the door back on.

A little more done recently, I have got the section of the Innerwing welded up with some CAD repair panels (nothing fancy or exciting, but I've taken a picture anyway),

and also the rear end with the wheel off to show how it all looks together.

Going to bleed the brakes tomorrow with a one man band Easy bleed kit and then crack on with tacking the outer sill on and fitting the door and front wing!
