I've decided that's what I want next.

Anyone had one/got one, and is there anything I should remember to check when buying? (Other than it being an Alfa...)

I am tempted by either an audi RS4 or RS6, or possible a porsche cayman depending on where my life is at the time.

They are all a whole lot cheaper to buy 2nd hand than people expect.

They sure are! I'm after the 2.4 turbo diesel (400lb of touque!). In the light blue, sv trim with the pano sunroof. But there's not that many about...

They are a surefire future classic. Beautiful and rare, a bit like the Zagato Alfas of the past.

Years ago Alfa did a collaboration with Nissan. It was called the Arna and it was ******* because they put the Alfa motor in a Nissan body. I suspect the moron responsible no longer works in the automotive industry, however I reckon Alfa should do a collaboration with Toyota. Imagine Toyota reliability with Alfa looks.

My old neighbours one has just clocked up 200000miles, the only thing that lets it down is rusty lower cill, but he said it had a paint repair here when it was a couple of months old.

I would love one, they are absolutely gorgeous! My budget won't stretch to one (not if I keep the mini anyway), so I think I may be settling for a 2.0 GT instead, in my eyes the next best thing!

I was just saying in the other thread that I like the Brera. I was going to buy a brand new Giulietta a few years back but those plans went awry.

I like the 159 that Bean has as well, but I would have to go for the Sportswagon as I would want to be able to get my bike around as well and a normal saloon just won't do which is a shame.
