To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cooper S Shelsley Walsh are hosting a special Mini and Mini variant class at their Classic Nostalgia Hillclimb on July 28th. Details here :

There will be car clubs on the show field including the Mini Cooper Register who will be fielding a special Mini Cooper S display, Jeff Goodliff will be reunited with his famous 1969 BARC Hillclimb Championship winning British Vita Minisprint which will be returning to the UK for the first time in 40 years, Barrie Williams will celebrate his 1071 rally car's 50th birthday by racing it up the hill, there are twenty Minis of all flavours entered on the hillclimb and ex Minisprint man Stirling Moss will be special guest for the day. Period dress is actively encouraged and a very late entry may just be accepted if you're very quick and apply to the Midlands Auto Club , forms are on the website. Non Race Nat B License required.

Does anyone know about what time of day the minis will be going up the hill?

The Minis will be driving up the hill most of the day from about 10 a.m. Paddy Hopkirk is also now attending as is the 1968 European Touring Car Championship winning British Vita Cooper S.

All twenty odd Minis and variants will be running at least three times in the afternoon so you won't miss much.
