I have a wired question can you remove the Rear pockets in a Mini 84 as i have asked a few people and have been told that it will not pass the MOT with out them..

Is this true ???

The rear bins and rear seat give an amount of structural rigidity.

And where are you going to mount your seat belt?

Why do you want to remove them?

That's my though Carlos the rear bins have the seatbelt mount in them so unless a cage is fitted with harness mounts then it will fail mot

I suppose you could build mounts for the seatbelts but to make the car sound for it to pass an mot you will need quite a lot of beefing up of the inner sill where the bin has been removed.

But as Carlos said why do you want to remove them?
