If you will be keeping it on your driveway or a public road make sure you say the road as this brings it down a fair bit :)
Is that the case if I rang up or do you mean online?
Both, they will ask you over the phone where the vehicle is kept

If you want, get it on like 1k miles every year. Buy a second speedo and put that in so you still know your speed. When it comes to the MOT, swap it out and put the original back in. That way, you've still done less that 1k miles, even though you can do as many as you want.
Another option would be to disconnect the cable from the gearbox to speedo, so you're speedo won't work. You can buy a speedo without a mile ticker and you can connect that to the cable. If you're inventive, there are loads of ways to get round limited millage. We're not crooks or anything, but we have a lot of classics in our family, and every car get's this done to them.
And you don't HAVE to report Mods, everyone thinks that you have to declare Mods, but Moding a car was legal ages ago and still is now. There is nothing they can do to stop it. Also, you could always be a hastle, and tell them you bought the car, and thought it was Mod free, not knowing the history of Mini's. There are numerous ways to get round insurance.

It's brilliant until the year you forget, but even if you don't forget, he's gonna be able to tell it's done more than 1000 miles when the bushes for example went from being brand new to ****** in a year and the "I live up a rutted farm track" excuse wont work eitherIf you want, get it on like 1k miles every year. If they asked for MOT certificates if you crashed and the millage was different from your declared millage, pretty sure they wouldn't pay out. Same with no declaring mods. A lot of mods don't even add on to your premium, I've got a few and they all came up as £0 when I got my documents through.

If they come up on Compare the Market or Confused then stay away.
I'm with 2Gi with all mods declared; £850. With 7 Years no claims it goes down to £350.

This advice is dangerous, at best you could find yourself uninsured and with premiums sky high due to insurance fraud in your record. At worst you could find yourself in serious trouble if you end up in an accident where someone is injured and it turns out your car is modified but you didn't bother telling the insurance. If you want, get it on like 1k miles every year.
