I think i'v just passed the 4 year mark. But doing all the overtime the world can bring to pay for our wedding last year, sorting the house out and a whole host of other things has kept me out of the garage. A ''better'' shell found it's way into the garage last year but not a lot has been done with that.

But now more overtime pops up so we can save up to buy our next house after probably making a nice loss on our current one. But i'll be building a nice big garage for the mini to live in when we finally move, so it'll be all good!

Had my mk1 in 1990 and still not finished, although only really been working on it the last 5 years, it is a part time restoration though. All welding finished and car in primer so hopefully completed within the next year or two. Have learnt a lot along the way and bought a lot of tools, built two garages etc, so not been lazy. That's the problem with having to many projects on the go.
