I have been following engine  conversion posts for a long time, but lately there seem to be nothing on nissan conversions.

Here is my car when I bought it in 2011

It took me a year to get enough courage to start the job.

It took another year to get body sorted out and sub frame changed.                                                                           Attached File  10022013038.jpg   86.78K   37 downloads

I'm using the cg10de engine from a nissan micra with the bigger gearbox of late model micra. The camshafts is from cg13de, which give more lift and longer duration, flywheel is lightweight from Jun Racing Technology in Japan. Inlet manifold is made out of toyota 4fe and cg10de that's cut and joined. The 4-2-1 exhaust system is home made up to the flexible joint. Bending pipes is no joke, took 10 days.

Looking good so far, I like your engine mounts. Any pics of how well the inlet manifold fits, I never got around to doing mine.

Sorry for the delay, I tried to take some pictures of the manifold. The throttle linkage is from Toyota (hole re punched). Cable is form Ford transit van (shortened). No bulkhead modifications. The air filter is k&n for turbo mini.

Your inlet manifold looks very similar to mine before I sent it to be welded up....it's a drawn out process at the moment as he made up some adapters.

I thought I'd cut my toyota manifold off too short, but really had little choice...

Good to see the Throttle position sensor fits ....just it looks like once I get my manifold back I'm going to check clearance before deciding which way to orientate the throttle body.

Might be worth trying to find a GA15 throttle body as it plugs straight in to the micra loom and has the same bolt pattern too, the butterfly is exactly the same diameter as the inlet on the toyota manifold 45mm? Also use the GA15 injectors too!

Anyway interested to see how this goes as it seems similar specs to mine!
