Hey guys,
I have a problem with my mpi mini. When the car is idleing it seems fine, if i press the ga s pedel the come off it again the revs drop so low it seems like the car is stalling. Twice the car has stalled completly and this is with the foot flat on the clutch pedel. Its embarrassing at club meets for obvous reasons.

Can any one help me out with this please.
Cheers
Elliott

Does it happen when you don't have your foot on the clutch?

It does happen but not as often, with my foot on the clutch it enables the revs to drop lower

Sounds like the IACV needs cleaning, or possibly air fiter related - this valve controls the ammount of air that goes into the engine when the throttle body valve is shut.

Have you run in on idle without the air filter?
