thanks mate! yeah i think 4 is the one im swaying towards too ... no idea how long it will be before i can get it done. ive worked out its going to cost me around £650 (including tyres)

was sitting at the lights yesterday waiting for them to change when my car just died...i then panicked, got out the car and opened the bonnet expecting something serious, but i couldnt find the problem. so after a lot of flapping about and being annoyed, i called my dad to come rescue me and help diagnose the problem....
what was the problem i hear you ask???
ran out of petrol....... turns out when my fuel guage says empty, it actually is empty.

Yeah that happened to me on the way back from the mot station the other day. It wasn't the first time either....

Gutted mate haha, I never let mine go below half because I know it's so dodgy
haha, mine only says half full when its brimmed... so my logic was that i still had half a tank when it was on empty.... nope

Don't take my word for it that it is the sender hah!
but the same happened to me and turned out i needed a injection type fuel sender... on a carb model :L
