Hi all,

I'm hoping someone who has fitted the electric fan kit from MiniSpares can help me out here.

I bought this kit the other day and it all goes together great. Fits onto the radiator perfectly, looks good and isn't too difficult to wire.

My problem is getting it into the car.

I have attached it to the radiator and am trying to put it all back into the car. The problem is the fan pushes against the inner wing, so much so that I cannot get the radiator back into position.

I was wondering if there was a trick to putting them in that the instructions doesn't say.

What has everyone else done? Is it a case of having to bend the inner wing slightly to accommodate the fan?

For info the kit I am fitting is...

Thanks

I'm guessing this is because you need to clear the standard fan on the waterpump ??

I would probably take the fan off, leaving the bolts finger tight, fit the rad over the fan and connect the bottom bolt, then slip the fan unit down the gap, and slip onto the bolts that way.

Phil.
