Nightmare situation, nowhere to go just brace for impact! Didn't look too bad a bang though. Anyone remember the clip from the 70s where the guy totals his mini big time then gets out and wobbles away obviously concussed. I think it may have been rally cross but I could be wrong.

Was the subframe still straight? It looks like its bowed in the second to last picture.

Ouch!

I was a bit worried that wasn't the end on the action from the way you slammed the door  :o

Who's the TMF jury blaming then?

I don't get why he was on his brakes, but you can't really see in front from the vid. Does it look like like he still had enough of a lead to take the line on the corner???

On the day I think they put it down to oil on the track? There was certainly a fair bit of oil on the track after the crashes.

Guy who got hit by our man here slammed the door on the grey car fairly mercilessly.. Or didn't see him (my bet). Other guy had nowhere to go other than give him a shove. Which shunted the bloke over the track. Just the sort of thing you get with a bit of inexperience. We had that same thing at pembrey yesterday.. One Caterham needs a front chassis and the other needs a rear di deon tube amongst other things

 what were we just saying about grey cars on that other thread? I think we have both been proved right in equal measure

I think the grey car went into a gap which wasn't there, then locked up after he hit him and that carried the crash on.
