Seemed strange to me, Clarkson slagging off British cars for decades has not helped to say the least. Why is now so keen to be pro-British?

On a separate note, having and the pleasure of driving down the Mall in a car we built in front of 100,000 people at Prince Charles's ecofestival a couple of years ago, it is an amazing view when you head off with Buck palace behind you!

the one thing about that whole video is actually how many are actually owned by the English and made in England, because most of those were german, indian, Chinese etc

Is it just me or were there no proper minis in this scene? Obviously something to do with BMW and their blimps.

the whole thing was to show that we still produce cars, which we don't apart from Morgan and a few other small sports car companies  so there wouldn't be any proper English cars in that video,
