Great project and a beautiful mini it is turning into. Well done
Have you seen the adaptation panel to turn a later bootlid into a mk1 or 2 boot. Mini mail sell them. It looks fairly straightforward to fit, I'm sure with your skills it would be easy for you.

I know it, but I have a MK1 boot lid to repair  ;D  If it give me problems, I'll modify my MK3 bootlid with minimail part.

After many days, is time to update

I've installed a motorbike horn. Smaller and lighter than Mini one.

I had some problems with the second hand bootlid so I bought a new MK1 one. ******** expensive!

Love the door pulls, I've been thinking of doing the same on my track car, but using red webbing a bit like the Porsche RS style grabs.
