Project Loti came about after a conversation with a friend at the shooting club. He knew I loved Minis and he knew someone who might be selling a project as it was possible they were going to start a new life down under. After the initial conversation nothing else was said for about 6 months, then one day he gives me a name and number and says give them a call about the mini...
so I do, turns out they are going to Aus, in 4 weeks time and everything including the mini has to go. I go to have a look, fall in love but thankfully my wife has her wits about her and says get Sam to check her over first, next day we do that and sam says "if you dont buy her I will" good enough for me, and negotiations are begun. with advantage to me as I know they need her gone... 3 days later me and sam return with a trailer!

I had to get the trailer back and pick the kids up etc so left her in Sams hands. I kid you not 3 hrs later he is on the phone in loti, revving her up... after 6 years of sitting in a garage as a kids toy! sams a legend.
next day she is on the back yard in the as yet unbuilt workshop... lol

Sam lasted 4 days... 4 days of looking at a mini on his yard before he had to have one of his own...[attachment=148321:Screenshot_2013-08-24-13-14-04-94757327.png]
