hoping to actually start a 'project' as you geezers seem to call it haha.

i know next to nothing, if anything at all... in restoring cars and that...

what knowledge would i actually need?

should i look into courses and gaining experience before proceeding or...?

I've used a MIG welder a couple of times, pretty much it.. haha

would it be actually worth doing a restoration project seen as though i know nothing? either way i'll still lurk around the forum  ;D

help and opinions are appreciated  ^_^

HI, welcome to TMF. Yesss, do the project. If you don't know much now you will at the end. You don't need to do courses, have a look at the project section (there are lots of project that people haven't had much knowledge at the start but now can do all of it ) and videos online to see how to do something. The migweldingforum.co.uk if very useful. Welding just needs practice, cut off an old panel, clean off all the paint and rust and keep trying till you get a nice weld. If you need any help just ask.

Have you got a mini or not? If you do get some pics up.

Cheers for reply brah! ^_^

And unfortunately, I haven't got one yet :(
Trying to get me storage space and everything for it first so I don't buy it and have it sitting outside.
Wanted to get a Monte Carlo too, doubt I will dough.
